Rahma is built by Ajnabi Designs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

Account information — your email address and display name when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only what those services share (typically your name and email). Journal entries — mood scores, reflection text, and duas you write in the journal. This content is stored securely in your account and is never shared or used for advertising. Profile preferences — motherhood stage, child count, notification settings. Used only to personalise your experience. Location — used on-device to calculate prayer times. Your location is never stored on our servers or transmitted anywhere. Device information — anonymous crash and performance data collected by our backend infrastructure. No personal identifiers are included. How we use your information To provide and improve the app's features To sync your journal, favourites, and preferences across devices To send notifications you have explicitly enabled (prayer times, daily reminders) To process your subscription through Apple or Google's payment systems

We do not sell your data. We do not use your journal content to train AI models or for any purpose other than displaying it back to you.

Third-party services Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States. Supabase Privacy Policy Google AdMob — banner ads shown to free users only. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers see no ads. Apple / Google — subscription purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store payment information. Firebase — used for Android push notification delivery. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address below, and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Children

Rahma is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
